For ages 14 years and older

We've got your ticket to a summer reading extravaganza that will have you dancing in the streets. From the rollicking anthems of beloved classics to the smooth style of jazzy romances, enjoy all your favorite literary styles in one venue - your local public library.

You'll get summer-long access to bluesy tearjerkers, pop favorites, funky graphic novels, and more! For every book you read, you get a chance to win a gift card from a local business. It's been said that books and music make life better, so jazz up your summer with a festival of good books.

How to Participate

In Person

  • Register at the Adult Reference Desk starting Monday, Jun 10, 2024.
  • Pick up a log sheet and booklist of suggested titles.
  • Read five (5) books from different categories to earn a reading program t-shirt.
  • Choose books from our displays or pick your own titles that fit the categories.
  • Get a prize ticket for each book you read. Enter your tickets in the prize bucket(s) of your choice.
  • Upon completing five (5) books, request your t-shirt in person at the Adult Reference Desk.
  • Prize winners will be announced at the Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party in September.

Online

  • Register online on Beanstack.
  • View our printable log sheet and booklist of suggested titles.
  • Read five (5) books from different categories to earn a t-shirt.
  • Choose from our suggestions or pick your own titles that fit the categories.
  • Log your titles online and get a prize ticket for each book you read. Enter each prize ticket by indicating which prize you'd like to win.
  • You can earn up to five (5) bonus tickets by completing extra activities.
  • Upon completing five (5) books, request your t-shirt in person at the Adult Reference Desk.
  • Prize winners will be announced at the Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party in September.
