Public Act 97-0609

In accordance with Public Act 97-0609 (5 ILCS 120/7.3), a list of all employees whose total compensation package exceeds $75,000 is available in the Library's Administration Office. In addition, an employee's total compensation package that is equal to or in excess of $150,000 is available in the Library's Administration Office at least six days before approval.

Per the statute, "total compensation package" means payment by the employer to the employee for salary, health insurance, a housing allowance, a vehicle allowance, a clothing allowance, bonuses, loans, vacation days granted, and sick days granted in that year.

The compensation and benefits, including annual leave allotment, can be found at the Elk Grove Village Public Library at 1001 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 in the Administration Office during regular business hours of 9am - 5pm or by email at foia@egvpl.org to request an electronic copy.
